Restore Strength, Function & Confidence in Your Smile

Dental crowns are one of the most reliable ways to protect and rebuild a damaged tooth. At Peter Pond Dental Clinic, we design custom crowns that look natural, feel comfortable, and help you maintain long-term oral health.

What Is a Dental Crown?

A dental crown is a custom-made “cap” that fits over a tooth to restore its shape, strength, and appearance. Crowns are commonly recommended when a tooth is:

  • Cracked or fractured

  • Heavily filled or weakened

  • Worn down from grinding

  • Discoloured or misshapen

  • Treated with a root canal and needs reinforcement

Crowns protect the remaining tooth structure and help prevent future breakage.

  • Highly aesthetic and natural-looking

  • Ideal for front teeth

  • Designed to blend seamlessly with your smile

  • Extremely strong and durable

  • Perfect for molars and high-pressure chewing areas

  • Tooth-coloured for a natural appearance

  • Long-lasting and fracture-resistant

How the Crown Process Works

1. Consultation & Assessment

We examine the tooth, take digital images, and determine the best crown material for your needs.

2. Tooth Preparation

The tooth is shaped to make room for the crown. An impression or digital scan is taken to create your custom restoration.

3. Temporary Crown

A temporary crown protects your tooth while your permanent crown is being crafted.

4. Final Crown Placement

Your custom crown is bonded securely in place, restoring full function and appearance.
